Default Spring Isolators or Not?

I recently bought lowering springs for my '02. The kit advertises 1.3" front and rear drop.

I would like to have a little bit of rake to the stance, not alot but slightly lower up front.

Can I cut the spring isolators or bump stops? I don't think I want to leave them out completely.

Are they thick enough to slice in half?

Would I cut the bump stops or the spring isolators?

Thanks,

Vince Woska

So you mean the bumpstops or isolators?

I've cut bumpstops before and it was very necessary to prevent bottoming while still keeping a travel restricted.

if you remove the isolators, you will see a 0.2"/0.3" drop to your stang...
