it could be man, i'm not sure on the numbers concerning exhaust on blown applications, but I know that the numbers are WAY inflated as compared to N/A set ups..so maybe you get 8 from an o/r x n/a and 15-16?? (maybe?) on a blown set up?
or you could just totally be thinknig that it's faster/ got more power b/c of how much louder it is, but I think you are smarter than that

yea it sounds a hell of alot meaner but i dont think its the sound... actually... i wonder if it spools or builds boost quicker? i will take a look at that next time i drive it....

I agree with you. On a street application there isn't a big difference between the catted and O/R versions. Sometimes, too, the increased loudness makes you "feel" the car is quicker/faster. The real comparison would be at the track.
