Default what size motor?

hey you guys, i have so many things i want to do but just cant stick with 1. so here we go again, lol. i want to put a new motor in my 04 mach and keep the stock motor or sell it, i havnt decided yet. But anyways, what motor should i put in it? should i have 1 built or buy a crate motor or something already put together? i want the motor to have asmuch N/ hp and tq so when i put procharger on it, the car will be absolutely gross. And i dont want to hear " u will need suspension work" stuff. i know this and thts not my question.lol some people seem to trail off from the subject. So basically what could i put in this car that would be absolutely insane. and if you had some hp and tq estimates that would be great. thanks everyone i do aapprecite your time. p.s. i want everyones opinion then i will slowly narrow it down.lol

I'd say your best bet would be a 5.4 liter from one of Ford's trucks.

Why did you buy a mach to pull the engine? Draw of Mach1 = DOHC Engine.

Stoked/Bored/Blown Ford 5.8 Liter = INSANE

really..throw some nitrous on it with a paxton unit and tear up the town....the car has a great start..find you a progessive unit for the nitrous a pms system to control it all ...and you'll have more car than you can handle

do u realize that u have a collectable and pulling the engine outta the car is ruining it.
if you were going to pull an engine outta a car pick a GT they are a dime a dozen. but leave your car alone and putt on some bolt ons. be happy with what u have,

True, an unmolested Mach 10 years from now will be worth some cash, but he wants to modify it!

Why not pull your motor and rebuild it with forged internals, port your heads, do bolt-ons and slap on a SC?

If you wanted to rip out the engine why did you get a 30k car? Why not a V6 or hell even a GT - or better yet a USED car for 1/4 that. I don't think your thinking intelligently - but if you've got more money than you know what to do with then I suppose a 5.4 swap would be pretty sweet - of course 4v heads is a must as well.

i have to agree with everyone..pulling a 4v out would be completely retarded. this guy is hard headed. he gets ahead of himself with every post. just keep the 4.6, and build the bottum end. or, if you insist on pulling a great motor out, get a 5.4 from a navigator, the ford truck 5.4 are only 2vs.
