Default Solid lash adjusters...

I just found two companys that are now offering solid lifters. They say the stock hydraulic lash adjusters collapse above 5500rpm. I dont know if thats true because I have read the stock hydraulic lash adjusters are good to 9600rpm... According to Sean Hyland. But Fox Lake Racing clames an increase of 30-35hp. This is a good upgrade for people to install with new cams or that already have cams to see more hp.... Mabye I can get past the 300rwhp mark. Heres the link http://www.foxlakeracing.com/index.p...ory=Front+Page

Heres there claim.

"Just Released !!!!!

4.6L to 5.4L Solid Lash Adjusters. These are crafted from billet steel and will eliminate the hydraulic adjuster collapse above 5500 rpm. Best of all, they are completely compatible with factory followers. Most engines will see a 30-35 hp increase with these solid adjusters. More aggressive cam profiles will see even greater gains. Costs are $399 per set for the 2V, and $798 per set fot eh 4V. "
