Brake pad installation...

RE: Brake pad installation...
Thanks alot, TX.
Anybody have some helpful information? I'd like to have this done by tonight. My car is still on jacks in the garage, and my sister and mom need to put their cars in tonight.
Yeah, unfairly, I don't get the garage.

Right about the spot where the bolt ends will be a little rubber bushing thing(dont know the tech word) there will be a little round metal piece next to that with flat spots on 2 sides. Put a cresent on that and the bolt should back out with no problems.

Glen,
I have to stop working so hard at my job.. I totally realize what you're talking about now...
You're talking about the smaller bolt, that goes INTO the braket, not the braket bolts themselves, right?? If that's the case, if you look at the other side, where the smaller bolt threads into, there is a flat spot on the round tube-like thing.. You put a regular open-ended wrench on there and hold it while you take the small bolt out.. This actual part is called the Caliper Guide pin...
I kept thinking over and over about this, and then it just hit me...
Both bolts have that flat spot.. I don't have a camera, nor do I have my Mustang today (Outta town), so I can't take any pictures.. If you have one, take a few shots, and I can see about Photo-shopping some sort of detailed info on the picture...

I had this same problem, and used the same solution.
