I had piggybacks and they constantly cause a CEL to come on. I tried everything to fix it, but ended up with Steeda pulleys. That turned out to be the solution. I just never liked having the stock balancer another two inches from the crankcase. For me, it caused a vibration between 2500 and 2800 rpm which the crank sensor picked up and caused misfires in two cylinders. I think they are still in the basement somewhere.
