RE: d/r daily drivers
I have BF goodrich g-force d/r's on the back, they perform well. i havent had to use them in the rain yet but i put some good wet condition tires infront so that if it dose rain i can at least control it. the bigggest diffrence that you will notice when putting on d/r's on the back it that the rear end floats when steering instead of making hard corners.

I have Nitto DR's on my DD, and they work fine. They may not provide as good as traction as sy the MT's, but they work well for me. The sidewall's are fairly stiff, so i don't get that floating feeling that the guy above is talking about. In fact, some cars are using this tire on both the front and rear for some road racing event's where they are restricted to street legal tire's.
I have heard these are good for 15 to as much s 20,000 mile's.
I have just over 3000 on mine with very little wear.

i have bfg's,and i'll say i put 6k on them?...tread (1/32?) what there was of it is showing signs of wear...but on dry pavement it seems they are hooking better...in the rain?...i drive 35mph even if i had mud tires and chains.

lmao 15-20k miles on nitto 555r's. Youll be lucky to get around 10k miles. there is no way your going to get 15 or even 20k miles out of them especially if you like to race.
no offence man, but you will get MUCH more than 10K out of Nittos.
I am currently running the softest of the 3 drag radial brands. MT ET Street Radials, and am over 7,000 miles on them with enough treadweat to last me another 4 grand I would guess
BFG's will last longer than that, and Nittos are even harder (still soft though) and should last 20+ if not clutch dumped at every intersection.
As for the MT"s in the rain. Let's just say, there are safter alternatives...lol... Ive babied my tires, so if you really want decent treadlife, its there for you (but nothing even close to a street tire) and if you properly do a burnout at the track (which i apparently forgot how to do the second time with them to the track) you can get LOTS of traction,, to the tune of bogging my car down hard with a 3500rpm launch

Mustangchris04,
Do some research on the Nitto's.
Now if your doing an 8 second burnout to heat them everytime you want to do a holeshot, then no, they are not going to last.
But for a great dd on DR's, they are hard to beat.
I have driven them in light rain, and they do fine, but you have to be resonable.
