Default RE: fixing the speedometer

whats the cheapest way to fix your speedometer after switching gears and also whats the best way?
Any shop with a chip reflasher can do it easly, or you could spend 100 bucks on the small black box several sites sell that can change the signal going to your ocmputer, but I believe you have to leave it hooked up. It wont hurt anything, but if you can get a shop or dealer to change the computer for you cheaper that is the better way to go.

id say leave the speedo messed up until u get tuned. just figure out your actual speed. have someone drive beside you ask them how fast and them compare it to the speed you are going . then you wont get any tickets until u get tuned to save some doe.
