The clutch problem is your throwout bearing. You can either live with it for awhile, or replace it if you so desire.

Chatter from your clutch and also signal a worn/faulty Pressure Plate, or at worse, loose PP/Flywheel bolts (that's a little bit of a stretch though). I'm thinking it won't be loose hardware, since you'd have issues w/ engagement...

Starting problem sounds like the fuel filter is clogged up, try changing that. The chatter sounds like someone didnt cut the flywheel last time the clutch was done.

Still has all original clutch, only 40,000mi on the car, so the clutch has never been redone.
