What do you think I should be able to talk them down to?
Depends on how much they value their car... you would have a hard time prying my GT away from me unless you paid me 24k+ (which then would be turned right around into an 03/04 cobra [8D]). My stang means a lot to me.

I'd think 9000-9500 would be alright for a price, and definitely possible to get them down to that point. When I got my stang, I got it july of '05 with 7500 miles, stock except for a catback. $17,900... was a steal at the time.

because you live in MA i say wait until winter comes. dealers wont be able to sell them so you'll get a better price.

I was hoping to be able to "actually" drive it before winter comes.

I bought my 01 GT with 35k miles for 13,500 in july and got a extended warranty! The prices seems high with all those miles! [sm=badbadbad.gif]

have you considered looking elsewhere??

in my opinion, both of those prices SUCK....

there arent many cars that I would pay 10K for with 100K miles on them already, and since its a Mustang, you can be sure many of the miles have been abused,, i know its an ugly truth, but that is quite an investment

ive said it before, but i found my '99 two years ago, with 48K stock, for 9,500

look around, be patient, as much as that sucks

i live on long island and i bought my 98GT in new jersey! it was about a 2 hr ride but it was worth it.....it only had 16k on it and was drivin by a 60 yr old man (bought it new) so was a weekend car and was drivin right....i spent 11500.....so if ur willin look around to other areas and u might have bette rluck

I would have to agree. Mine is an 01 GT Vert 5 speed loaded with 16k miles in mint condition for 15k. That is a 6-8k car you are describing. Come to Ohio they are cheap!!!!!!!!
