Default suspension rebuild...

Some of you may remember about a month ago I posted on here that I hydroplaned and hit a curb goin about 45 mph. I jumped the curb with all 4 wheels and ended up bending two rims and seriously screwed up the alignment and a couple of the shocks / struts / springs, etc.. . well, now the time has come to put the car in the shop and have everything looked over to see exactly what all has been damaged and needs to be replaced / repaired.

This is my first time dealing with damaged suspension / suspension repair, so I'm not exactly sure how I should approach this when going to the repair facility that I plan on taking it to. I definitely want them to check everything out and tell me what all needs to be replaced / fixed, but I also see this is an opportunity for the auto repair facility (ford dealer) to take advantage of someone who doesn't really know that much about suspension, etc...

Anyone have any recommendations as to how I should approach this situation with the ford dealer? I definitely want this to be fixed right, but I don't want to be told that I need to have $5000 worth of suspension work done if it really doesn't need it.

ugh, this is going to be painful, I can already feel it.
