stang2000 your car is far from rice and i dont think your a poser do to that fact that you dont have any badges stated that its something that its not as far as the 281sohc bagde that is what it is rght.... and if your happy with performance of your car witch seems like you are then go ahead and do a body kit..... just to me performance should be first

 

Stang2000: I don't really care for the body kit, but it's not bad. I kind of like the headlights. The whole car looks really clean and well done though... I'd consider it a domestic tuner, not rice.

Edit: Get yourself some rear bumper inserts! They'll really make the rear stand out.

 

Thanks for all the comments. I don't really care for the inserts. And about the performance, it's got plenty of that. All show and go. In fact I'm in the process of upgrading some fuel compents, getting an updated intake, MAF, and smaller pulley for the SC.

 

I guess it's all down to personal taste. But I agree that the huge-*** rear wings and grapefruit shooters are rice. As are stupidly large wheels or ridiculous bodykits.

However, that being said, I love the 20" Saleen rims on the S197. And their glass roof. And I love the roof scoop on that red SN95. But I think 'Eleanor' and 'Bullitt' replicas (they're just too 'busy' for me) are waaaayyyy too rice, so go figure.

Just out of interest...does anyone think these might possibly be rice?

You've got a great looking ride, and having the same/similar green, everytime I see your pics I can't help but start thinkin of doing some appearance upgrades...



Whats rice?

Rice is when you look at a car and just go "why?" (usually on a cheap(er) little 4 banger) Adding some personality is one thing, grille delete, even an airbrushed pony, but making your car sound like a weed whacker and so dependent on the bottle that without it kids on 10 speeds pass you, is a bit out of control in my opinion.

 

well as for the first mustang... the interior is kinda nice.... but he put all his money in the wrong areas.... he forgot that is has a motor under that faux-scoop in the front!!!!

Stang2000's ride however... just looks like a lean green machine lol.... it seriously looks like a bullet... and the headlights, I like them, they really stand out saying HEY I'M FASTER THAN YOU!!!!!
