Hello, I will be replacing my two rear oxygen sensors because they seem to have a problem today as I change my oil. I ordered two Bosch Premium oxygen sensors and they sent me two with the same parts number 15716. If I remember right from what I read that is the left rear oxygen sensor. Well I contacted them and the person told me that you could use this sensor in both sides. Is this true or was the person mistaken?

 

i think that after market 02sensors might be universal. as long as the you plug the wire in the proper side i think you will be ok.

 

Thanks; installed them and took a little 90 miles drive and everything seems to be working fine.

 

cool i was pritty sure they were universal. the o2 sensors all do the same thing its just the wires that go to the computer that have to be in the right spot.
