Hey all,

I just got back into a Mustang after about a decade away. Picked up an 01 GT. It runs great. Everything is in order; Except the oil gauge doesn't work. Sometimes, it comes live for a minute or two and reads about where it should. Then it crashes again. The previous owner told me that it never worked at all for him. He replaced the sender with no results. I washed the car and it started working intermittantly, leading me to believe that the gauge may not be the root of the problem. Any ideas to try before replacing the whole gauge cluster? I don't want an external gauge. Just want to get this one functional.
