I bought a Roush billet shifter **** for my stang, and I thought it was cool until summer hit. These ***** should come with this warning: If you live in Houston and you are considering buying this, you are a retard and should smack yourself in the face with a tackhammer. Now I cant find my old shifter ****. I think I might buy some driving gloves and look like the cool kids with Bimmers.

Just put something over it when you know your car will be sitting for a while. Mine gets hot too, but cools off relatively quickly, you just can't rest your hand on it for a few minutes.

I have a bullitt knobby and Its hot at first (Ga) but the calluses in my hand dont conduct heat well[&:]

I've burned the **** out of my hand a time or two myself. i suggest getting a window shade. saves your interior and keeps it cooler inside. just food for thought
