Default lowering

Hey guys, I am getting ready to drop my '03 Vert 2" in front, 1.5" in the back. I also plan on putting MM full length subs on, will there be a problem with my car bottoming out? Thanks for the help.

Default RE: lowering

I drove a '00 coupe that was dropped that much, and it bottomed out on everything. Expect to hear scrapes every time you go over a speedbump. You'll also have to be VERY careful driving up ramps and even over small bumps in the road. IMO, lowering the Stang is too much of a PITA unless you live in a flat area and only take the car to the track, or to shows.

Default RE: lowering

Mine is lowered about 2 inches (97 Cobra), and i dont really have too much of a problem. The heat shields are effed up because the exhaust scrapes every speed bump and some driveway ramps, but it looks like a monster truck if you dont lower it (maybe the 03s are lower stock but they still look a little too high). Go for it. I guarantee you'll like it.
