MIDPIPE BRANDS
I was wondering if midpipe brands matter. I know its just pipe but let me explain my situation. I am getting a Mac o/r X pipe to go along with my flowsmasters. Later i am going to get the lm1s because after hearing some on here i think they are badass but with the mac rather than the slp midpipe will it sound the same? I dont want to spend all the money then mess up my sound because of my midpipe. Also my mufflers are just welded in, so if i get the catback lm1s later am i going to have to get a bigger midpipe to fit it? Thanks guys.

RE: MIDPIPE BRANDS
mid pipes, especially X's all seem to sound a little different to me. some seem to "rattle" more than others i guess because of the way they're built, some brands have an actual cross-over pipe and others are just two pipes stuck together with the middle cut out. whatever brand you buy will work with either the stock setup or a/m catbacks

RE: MIDPIPE BRANDS
An X will sound much different than a H (H is deeper, better for chambered mufflers, X is better for straight thrus like the SLP sound wise).
An o/r x or h will be much louder and have a different tone. Its hard to describe, you will just have to listen to some clips.
The size of the pipe will effect it somewhat, but most of them are all the same size anyway.
An X is gonna sound like shiz IMO on your flowmasters, and will sound much better on the SLPs than an H. Know that LM1s or even LM2s are VERY loud with a o/r X or H.

I don't see why not. I know that the SLP longtubes require a SLP midpipe, but I am 99.99 percent sure that any midpipe will boltup to the SLP catback.
A X is gonna sound bad on your flowmasters though. And if your gonna go with a O/R X, get the BBK instead. About the same price, and much better quailty.
