Has anyone had any trouble with an SCT tuner and an automatic tranny? I find tHat my tranny wants to hesitate when I kick it down when say passing a slower car. I think it has something to do with my setting the shift pressures at the full 25% allowed as it seems the tranny also downshifts a bit harder also. Then when I aded a tune without doing the parameter change it seemed to perform perfectly.
The second problem I found was that when in drive the power was not there but if I shifted the tranny manually it had all the power it should have. I am working with Brent at Brenspeed where I got the custom tunes to resolve this issue but perhaps someone else has experienced the same phenomenon? Thanks, Mark
PS: I got 3 tunes for 3 octanes and Brent is adding a fourth at no charge for race fuel.
I do have another question which has to changing when the gears shift. Is changing the MPH the way to do it, I believe it allowsa 7 mph increase, or is there another?
