Default 2003 Mach 1 & diablo sport tuner

I have a 2003 Mach 1 and purchased it from the dealer. It was already modified. It really burnt up the road. Ever since I took it in to have work done on it, get the speedometer recalibrated, it has not run right. I know it was tuned before. I wan to retune it and bought the diablo sport predator that goes to it. I was told that the car has to be at stock for the tuner to work. The dealer will do it for 89.00. Is there any way to get the programmer to work without the original stock tune or does any one know how I can stock tune it with the predator. I guess what I am asking, does anyone have a stock tune that I can put on my predator and would that be able to be written to the car?

I think you may have wasted some cash. Predator is not the best tuner and how do you know what the dealer did. My point being they messed it up. I doubt it had a tuner type tune if the speedometer was not calibrated. That and the tuner that was used would be worthless if it did not have the original put back into the car's computer. Can you get ahold of the previous owner? Try to find out what is in the controller. Spend $20. for a carfax if you need to and contact the last owner. mark

the dealer charges that b/c they have to "flash" it back to its original for you to put the new tune on it.
