i have a 2004 anniversary edition GT 4.6 l and i was wondering if its worth putting in a K and N filter in it, does it give any performance? is it worth the 50 bucks?

you get them cheaper on ebay --- you can also consider buying a semi-used filter considering that you can wash them --- I have one and I think it's worth the investment --- only frees up about 3hp though, but you won't have to buy any more filters ever again.

why waste that $50 ucks when you can go to www.densecharger.com and get a whole cold air set up with a bigger mass air meter for about $300.00. That will give you a gain of about 10-15 HP. Good investment also!

stay away from any filter that requires oil in the foam media...some will say it wont hurt anything, but it can get on the maf and screw things up
