Look at private party via: forums, autotrader, local paper, and some others. Usually a dealer marks prices up to keep themselves in business.

Although, even with that high of mileage, that color is rare. It might not be so bad, since I have only seen 3gts and 1v6 vert in that color. It looks killer.
Color might be rare, but that isn't worth a damn on a GT at the moment. I find it odd you can recall the exact amount of Mustang's in that color, coupe & Vert. Weirdo

you can finance a private vehicle, dont fall into the dealership trap. They will make money off you for the car and the financing. dont be desparate, you will regret it later. Apply for a loan at a bank or credit union, they will give you a figure you can shop with. It is not hard buying off a private owner with a loan, just some paperwork. be patient. it is only a car, dont stretch yourslef too thin especially if insurance is going to be outrageous. If you are young, you can get one later when you can afford it. I didnt get my first stang til i was 36.

I bought my 99 with 20300mi at a ford dealership for 10500.00 plus tax.I also got a 30 day 3000 mi warranty, granted not a full coverage but they would pay half of the repairs, lot more that from a private owner, also got a 5 yr premium car wash tag at all thier dealer ships.buying from a dealer has financing advantages and you have a real place to come back on if you have unforseen probs.Keep looking you will find your car.......................Gary99gt5sp
