exhaust bolts

RE: exhaust bolts
Id have to agree with the heat. Get her a nice cheery red almsot then let off cool with spary bottel of water then repeat a few times just be sure your not heating things up you dont want. This method of high heat then fast cooling will breack it up real fast from the rapid expanding and then contracting..... this will weaken it some aswell thougth sadly [>:] so use best judgement. Either that or bust the hell out of your nuckle while you strain with every muscle in your body under you car lol.

RE: exhaust bolts
thanks for the advice. i have the socket & tools to loosen the nut that is not the problem ,BUT after spraying it with MOST of the penetrating sprays for several days now ,it feels like it is going to twist the bolt off in the manifold which is EXACTLY what i am trying to prevent. DOES THE MOTOR HAVE TO BE PULLED TO CHANGE THE HEADERS ? this is my first 4.6 , others are 5.0 mustangs. thanks for taking time to offer advice.
