so i'm installing my MGW shifter tonight or tomorow night and i was wondering if its a good idea to change the tranny fluid on my t-45/t-5 i got 129K miles on the factory fluid, and what tranny oil should i use or make sure not to use

 

129k miles?

It'll take some effort to change it, but after 129k miles with the factory fluid.....uh... I'd leave it alone until you are ready for a new transmission.

 

not to hijak but how often should tranny fuild be changed?
