extending o2 harness
i have a 2000 gt (auto) and just recently installed a mac o/r h-pipe. the o2 sensors wouldnt reach the spot so i bought new ones for $100. i read on here that there was a way to extend them without buying o2 extenders. something about releasing extra slack from above the tranny? if this is true then can anyone tell me how so i can get my money back
. also i think i have a slight leak, i hear a ticking noise from the driver and passenger side near the headers. also when im in park my rpm's dance from around 500 to 1000. it used to stay steady around 750 rpms. any help is appreciated. thanks.

There should be some slack where the wires go into the rest of the harness. All I had to do was pull on the wire where it went into the wiring harness up toward the firewall. I was able to pull about 6in of slack into the wire. This was more than enough for mine to reach as i only needed about 2-3in. If you cant pull any slack, look for any other points where the wire might be attached to the firewall or trans. Sometimes the wires are held in with some kind of gromett.
