shakey starts!?!??!
I know this is a V6 Question, but I figured the there would be a more knowledgeable group over her.... anyways my 2000 five speed v6 starts like S#*% half the time. It seems almost lazy to fire up. It cranks up but will stay there and it feels like the rear end shakes when it happens. It usually does it more often when its lower on gas... after its been started a few time 20-30 mins in between.. I've had my fuel injection and filter done, theres a new battery.
Rear end shakes?? When you start the engine or when you start to move?
Is the starter disengaging when you let go of the ignition? Or is it making a grinding noise?
Maybe your not getting good fire... check spark plugs.

it will stay in a starting phase before the engine actaully "vrooms". When it does start real bad, the entire car will shake. Can hear the exhaust rattle....it does it only sometimes, so i thought starter and plugs was a no, but then again.... im not sure thanks for the insight tho... anymore help would be appreciated
Replace the plugs, cheap to do anyways.
If that doesn't work, look further into the ignition system.
How about turning the ignition to the on position, but not starting it? Give your fuel pump a moment to prime and see if it happens anymore. If that doesn't help & you can't find anything wrong with the ignition....might want to keep your fuel pump in mind.
