Seafoam is not a Lucas product. Lucas fuel injector cleaner is about the only cleaner I'd actually buy.

I run full synthetic and change it regularly. I dont run oil stablizer b/c Ive heard good and bad things about it. About the only time I'd ever use it is if my car had high mileage and I used regular fossil oil. With synthetic, there's no need.

GODAMGT00 - I know your car isn't supposed to compress raw fuel - it's impossible. When you add combustion chamber cleaners by vaccuum, it goes through your intake manifold. There's not enough heat to vaporize it. The fuel gets vaporized because it is already atomized by the injectors. Since the cleaner isn't, it is in a liquid form while in the combustion chamber.

I've always had good experience with Lucas products. I've used it when replacing tranny fluid on my automatic 4 banger, and it smoothed out the shifting. I've used the power steering fluid on the mustang to stop the leak, and it did that too.

I wasn't referring to you when I made that mention.. And when I mentioned fuel system cleaners, I meant fuel system cleaners.. Not the type you put into your intake like Seafoam...

I have used Lucas octane booster. It raises the octane rating by 3 whole points, 3oz. of lucas product to 5 gallons of gasoline. I called them and adding a higher concentrate does not raise the octane more. Mark

In all the cars ive owned, i have never put additives in my oil and never needed to... it's a waste of money... an engine will run forever without them... what determines the life of an engine is how its driven... an no oil additive is gonna fix that....
