Default X-pipe install question

If I get a off road x-pipe but don't have the cash for a catback system yet will I see any benefit from installing the x-pipe alone?

of course it will. Anything is better than that da*m 2 1/4 H pipe that the factory puts on it.

and no cats is alot better than having 4. just remember you are gonna need 02 sensor extensions if you have an 04.

call summit and ask for obd2 simulators for a stang gt, they will hook you up. you can always add mufflers later. simulators make your computer think that it still has cats on it. they are only $68 shipping included.

well if you get long tubes you will need extensions reguardless and if you get an offroad you will be getting MIL eliminators and not O2 sensors.

obd2 simulators are what the exhaust shop told me to order, and summit knew exactly what i was talkin about. i guess there the same as mil eliminators, either way, it worked.

You'll definitely feel a difference with an off-road X-pipe, even more so than if you just installed a cat-back system. After I put the X-pipe on my car I could feel it pull harder in the upper RPM's, like when merging onto the highway. It will really open up your exhaust note also, because all those cats really quiet your car down.
