I believe I heard that if you had a tubular k member, then you could install LT's without removing the k member. Just slide them in. Is that right?

I was going to go with tube k and that was going to be a benefit, but i remember reading that it psuhed the front wheels out a bit, so i scrapped that idea, take that for what it's worth.

I thought it pushed the wheels forward a little, which is a good thing.. Better wheel base = better highway speed+ handling...

That's next on my list, along w/ some of the tubular control arms...

I read that to on these forums too. When it's pushed forward, is it really noticeable to the eye? Does the wheel look like it's closer to the front of the fender then to the back? If you got tubular a-arms couldn't you fix it?

The way my car looks now, even after all of the new suspension stuff, the front wheels look really close to the back of the front fender well... I don't like it..

I've also heard that the Cobra Front Lower Control Arms push the wheels forward a bit, to increase stability.. If this is true, that may be a good choice as well...

Also, most of the tubular Control Arms do the same thing, by pushing the wheels/spindles forward just a bit... It's really not a bad thing at all... Seriously..
