a couple weeks ago i brought my 99 GT with 60000miles to a dyno shop and got my car dynoed. I pulled 307rwhp and 344rwhp with just a cold air intake, diablo predator tuner, 3.73 gears and i think a 40 series flowmaster exhaust that was on my car when i bought it and the cats are still attached. Just wondering if this was good results for my car. Oh and it was a brand new mustang dyno.

Hp seems a little high for the mods IMO.

 

yeah that sound over with those mods I would have expected somewhere around 230-260rwhp

 

i restate my last statement yeah that pretty high for the mods you got

 

so there could be other mods that i am not aware of

 

or the guy has his dyno loaded funny.... some times shady shops will tweak the computer to read high. but yeah, ur car is almost stock, so u shouldnt be much higher than 230 rwhp. I hit 260 rwhp with full bolt ons, and that is pretty standard. u wont hit 300 rwhp without full bolt ons, cam, P/P, and a good tune. and u wont hit 344 rwhp unless ur code3gt and have just about paid the car off twice while working on it.

i hit 260 rwhp with full bolt ons and LT headers (on a mustang dyno). over 300 hp with that stuff, no way dude!
