clutch ?? 01 gt
Hi i have a 2001 gt vert. with about 280hp it has 75k miles and i am getting a clutch and throw out bearing installed tomoro i am not planning on moding it with anymore power because i am saving up for a gt or a roush in the new body style should i just save some money and go with the stock clutch i am not gona have it for anymore than 3 years and i have a winter car. thanx

Yeah you might as well just get the stock clutch unless you can find an aftermarket for cheaper than the stock. Does your 01 GT have a T-45 or T-3650 transmission?

hmm i am not sure wich tranny it has i know in 01 they made 2 dif ones but i know thier is no syncros in first and reverse but as long as i dont add much of anything to it i am sure a stock one will be fine right ?

I really liked my entry level mcleod that I had before the blower. When I did the TKO install I went with a much stronger clutch, but for your power level the mcleod is more than enough.

Alot of folks really like spec clutches, particularly the stage 1 since it's pretty comfortable.
