I was in for a rude awakening when I first challenged an SRT-4. I drive a 2000 gt convertable with basic mods (pulleys, exhaust, intake) and i got raped. After we raced we met up at the stop light and he had the nerve to explain to me how he traded in his GT for the neon because it was too slow. I bout slapped him. And I would have if the sum b**** wasn't so fast! lol.

Ive taken a stage 2 srt-4. And ive just got bolt ons. If you've got a kenne Bell SC you need to stop thinking neons and start thinking vipers

Yeah but a neon is a girls car no matter how fast it is. My gf makes fun of them all the time its great. Shes like no matter how fast it is its still a rice burner.

Its a drivers race. I ran an srt4 from a 40 roll, he had open down pipe, bov and a few other things and I have an o/r X and flows. We were dead even to 120 where we let off. He would pull a few inches when i shifted, I would pull a few when he shifted, and it ended up dead even. At the end of the day, there still driving a neon...

Its like my buddies Jetta GLI. He can walk me. Its stock turbo/intercooled/6-speed and he has methonal injection, bov, Cat removed, intake, 50 shot, tuner. He runs with stock cobras. I always say hey well at the end of the day i have a Mustang covertible and you just have another rice burner. Its funny too (not to be stereotyping) but hes my boy and hes from chicago. This really tough irish dude. We roll around with this other dude whos our boy whos asian and he drives an LS-1 Trans Am. Its great to hear my asain friend give my chicago boy crap about driving a little ricer. Hes like dude im asain and even i dont have a ricer. What does that say about you! Its great.

Ive raped srt4s and stis from the dig, off a roll they are a lot faster.. me being not s/c yet it was a tight race on the freeway rolls.. make sure u have some radials, good driving and a few supporting mods.

theres like 1 million car clubs in las vegas, its wild out here. srt4s are like a everyday car.. they weak. IMO.

once the srts start jumping stages- your going to need nos or a super sonnnnn!
