All you need is some drag radials and you got him.

A guy I work with has one and he said he is running 14.5 to 4.9 in his. I dont know what they are suppose to do with a good driver but thats all he can pull. He says its not a 1/4 mile car, that its more less for top end and says he has had it up to 160mph. Thats a little high for a four banger if you ask me, but I let him carry his story on without a word from me.

160 mph wouldn't surprise me really... 9000 rpms and a 6 sp will let you do that... but I'm not sure where the speed limiter kicks in on that car.

14.5-14.9 is livable, but I've seen them hit 14.2 stock...it's all in the driver and where you launch at.

and as nomo stated, he will rape you on a twistie backroad.

A friend of a friend was at the dragstrip in his new S2000, it had a new aftermarket cat-back in it and he ran low 15's all night long (man it always seems that everyone at my track runs slow... I suppose 90* with humidity does that?!?) - but then again I heard he drives like a 15 year old... no offense Juggy

huh? he has the GT, his dad is buying the S2k...

oh and i never really caught this part of it...
(between 2000-2004 year)
It's a good thing he wants those years, cause those are the only 4 years it's been produced. the 04 model is upgraded from the 00-03, displacement is upped from (F20c) 2.0 to (F22c) 2.2, redline is lowered these two things result in the same horsepower rating but more torque is produced(00-03s 154ish vs 04s 169), it gives it a lower, broader torque curve, and a more street friendly power band.

Aesthetic upgrades include front and rear fascia redesign, and rims are changed from 17" 5 spokes to 17" 10 spokes.
