i was actually looking at some patriot ported heads. can someone please let me know why they shouldn't be trusted? thx

Yeah. Im starting to think the whole TT 5.1 4v is not going to happen becuase i cant justify spending that kind of money even if i had it. What i may do and more realistically can do is i need a new bottom end becuase my engine has 125,000 on it right now. I am looking at still the 5.1 stroker short block with forged everything and then just port my heads and swap everything over to the new bottom end. I am looking at an aftermarket intake and cams as well so anywhere upwards of 300 would make me happy. I might throw a 150 shot on there becuase everything is forged and then later in life add on a vortech or something. Idk. Just throwing around ideas. Still wanna finish building up the suspension (6 point roll cage, full coil overs, tubular k member and a arms, etc)

IDK ive just heard of everyone having problems with them. Ive also heard ppl that have used multiple heads from them and swear by them. Idk i cant really say myself.

Alright then it looks like sending in your heads to be ported FTW! I will do new lifters and things with the new cams
