Default exhaust help

im new to the forums ive got a 98 cobra that im looking to spend about a grand on in a month or so i thought i had it all down as far as what i wanted but im not sure anymore i was gonna go with long tube headers x-pipe springs and a diablo tuner just for starters all i want right now is for my car to sound as mean as possible i had flowmasters on it and it was ok then i put dynomax and it lost alot of its rumble but besides that i read that an xpipe gives you a european sports car sound while a h pipe gives you a muscle car of the 60ties im little confused by that because ive always been told to go with the x pipe but i dont want to sound like a freakin porche or somethin anyhow ive been looking for sound clips like crazy just to help me out on my decision any input or sound clips or anything would be great i mean whats the best combination to go with also any help with long tubes and shorty headers would be good too thanks

Default RE: exhaust help

Long tubes (not good on brands, someone else will help you best there)
MAC O/R (if you dont have to worry about emissions) Prochamber
Borla Stingers

THAT'll be a wicked sound right there :-p
