Romeo Heads on Windsor Block?

Romeo Heads on Windsor Block?
I got a '99 Mustang GT, and have to get new heads. I'm not sure what type heads I have (Windsor or Romeo), and I was wondering if you can take off Windsor heads and use Romeo heads? Or the other way around?
I know you will need matching valve covers. But, let's say I have a Windsor Block, and get Romeo Heads/Cam/Valve Covers will these mount on with no problem?

Before you do this, Tim at modularpowerhouse.com has like 6 sets of used windsor heads. 450 a set. Cheaper than buying new heads and he's not the type of guy to sell you crap that doesn't work.

You have a windsor. You can use romeo heads with no problem. The only real difference is the cam caps and the valvecovers bolt holes. You can still use your cams.

Great, glad to hear this will be an easy swap. I got some used 2001 Romeo Heads on the way.
Now what gaskets do I get (assuming I got Windsor block)? Any recommendation on where to get these?

Got the heads, gaskets, and took to shop. Seems that you also need newer timing cover bolts. The bolts for the Romeo are smaller than those for the Windsor. My shop was putting the engine back together and ran into this, so now I need to overnight some timing cover bolts.
Just an FYI for anybody that has to do this in the future.

RE: Romeo Heads on Windsor Block?
OK, hopefully that is the only problem they have with these. Are the valve cover bolts reusable? i.e. Can I take my valve cover bolts from my windsor valve covers and use them on the romeo ones? There are less bolts for the romeo ones, right? (11 per side, as opposed to 13 per side with Windsor)?
Just trying to cover all my bases, I don't want to have to keep overnighting parts as we need them. Let me know what you guys think.
