Don't get your panties in a wad PWorld... I was only pointing out to the thread poster that that was an opinion. I never said it was wrong. You can't go wrong by lookin at upgrading to an aftermarket exhaust. If he wants stainless steel... then flowmaster's may not be what he's looking for. If that doesn't matter to him, then yea... flowmaster sounds great on stangs. Sheesh, chill out

You wont be dissapointed with Magnaflow man.
I must say thogh with Mag, there are more adjustment points on it, becsue of the tips but its not hard, I installed mine and then took them to a muffler shop and he welded everything up for like 50 bucks, I love it

You'll get some performance out of any cats you put on, so it really comes down to rust and sound. Listen to the clips - that will help a lot. The one thing you can't tell with the clips is how loud they are.

RE: Catback
Well had my Magnaflow put on yesterday by Car-X muffler shop, man sure glad I didn't try to install em.
The guy at the shop called and said they were hell to get everything tight, I told him to go ahead and weld everything just in case they might come lose.
Man ole man do they sound great I even feel a little more power from em, but one thing about em, when I hit a bump in the road I hear a knock somewhere, but I think I can live with that.
Now I'm thinking bout going with the high flow cat X pipes, I hate that rotten egg smell when I get into it, can anyone recommend a good high flow cat X pipe.

catbacks are all about sound... pick the one that you think sounds the best. i picked slp because its all stainless steal, i liked the way the tips looked on the car, i liked how the sound clips sounded.... and when i ordered it they were on sale for a price that i couldnt resist. i could not be happier with my choice, my exhaust is exactly what i wanted. basicaly anything you will get will sound better than stock which is the goal here.
go to these sites to find videos/clips of diferent exhaust setups... i looked for hourse before i narowed it down.
