best brake pads?

Just wondering whats the best brake pad to use for an everyday driver that you tend to drive pretty hard and race with occasionally? Is it ceramic pads or regular pads?

I would go with ceramic. They will last a long time and wont turn your wheels black. I`ve used them on several cars. Ceramic pads are the way to go.
