transmison DONE..... again.
well my third gear droped out of the car tonight. its only been about 6 months since ford fixed it. The car now has 42k miles on it, it had 34k when she broke the first time. Any chance ford is going to fix it for me?
thats the thing, its out of warranty now, but they just fixed the same prob like 5 months ago. they better fix it or i swear to god i will never buy a ford again, and i have had 6.
Yeah those retards must've done a **** job. Dealerships are the worst, they rip you off and do half-assed work. Unless warranty covers something, I would never go to a dealership to get anything fixed.
man...that sucks...i am a hardcore ford guy and i think i would still buy ford if that happened to me...you just got a car with bad luck...was it built on friday the 13th?...i say just buy a TKO 600 or T56 and send the bill to Bill...if they dont pay sue
Do you know if when they fixed it the first time they performed the ENTIRE T.S.B. on it ( thats what they should have done) or just a quick fix of third gear which will cause the same problem to come back. Find out what they did and pitch a fit either way to get them to do it again. The parts kit for the TSB is around 1300.00 but the techs don't want to do it because it only pays about 5.5 hrs. which is a joke and that includes the R&R of the trans, good luck.
P.S. Its TSB 04-15-6

If its under warranty just tell them that it is hard to shift into 2nd and 3rd, sometimes it jumps out of gear and that you KNOW about the TSB so you want your trans fixed the right way, good luck.
