Nitrous Kits.
OK, heres a new topic that I dont here very much. I am looking to buy a nitrous kit, give me some advice on what kit to get and what to look out for. Also should I buy more equipment for saftey reasons, or performance reasons? I am thinking about getting this kit.

Thats the kit I have and I absolutely love nitrous. I know people say that a blower is better because you always have the power, but personally I would beat the hell out of my car if I had a blower on it. I like the nitrous becasue when I just go cruise in it, I don't put the stress on my motor like i would with a supercharger. As far as safety stuff goes, I would get a window swtich and I think that kit comes with a WOT switch. I would also get the nx genx2 kit, it comes with a bottle heater, purge... all the goodies for about 350. I would also get some gauges...i.e nitrous pressure....Your gonna love it, and if you dont get it tuned, back the timing off 4 degrees for a 100 shot.

i peiced mine together for 275. Thats with bottler warmer,purge, soilenoids(sp), plumbing,10lb bottle,brackets..pretty much everything. Im only using a arming switch and WOT. you could use that as well. just dont bounce rev limiter while spraying. you can pick up a window switch for 75 bucks. thats a good choice as well as a fuel presssure saftey switch, so if it starts to run lean it will de activate the nit. Deff. get a nitrous guage. for the bottle or a pillar pod type. your gonna wanna make sure ur at pressure or else your wasting ur money. i have a wet NX kit and am happy with it. you can deff feel the "hit" and im only spraying with a 50 shot. Stock fuel pump,injectors and timing. If i move up in the shot i'll do as 03sonicgt suggest.
