Default Speedo help

so if i get the dallas speedcal it will fix my speedo even though i have a mechanical speedometer because i need to fix it bad

I don't think it will if you have a 98 and older the 99+ have electronic pickups for the speedo 98 and lower have a toothed gear that is connected to a vehicle speed sensor to calibrate you speedo for gears you need to change the tooth gear

It will be dead on!!!! I have one for my 98GT.
