O2 Sensor
Yeah, my car stalls at less than 800 rpm if left to idle. At stop lights I have to rev it to 1000+ rpm to keep it running. It runs fine while driving though, actually runs great, just idles rough and eventually dies. As soon as I disconnect the battery, wait a few min and reconnect the problem is solved until the cel comes on again. I think it runs extremely rich when the cel is on. It seems like the fuel economy goes down and the exhaust smells HORRIBLE (not because there are no cats, I know its supposed to smell worse).
i changed out my O2 sensors that are near the headers for ones with a longer harness...can i use the ones i took out for the rear? or are the O2 sensors in the front and rear independent of one another?
Same with me. When I bought my car, the damn O2 sensor light was on (cuz' of the H pipe also) and the dealership "fixed" it. 2 days later he check engine light came on again. By the way mempis, nice car, it looks familar
well i believe that the rear O2 sensors do affect performance because my gas mileage has now become very HORRIBLE. i can smell gas in the car strong, so i guess it is running very rich. my question still is, can i replace my passenger side rear O2 sensor using my passenger front O2 sensor takeoff? o and your car does look familiar
. ill be posting new pics soon because it looks alot different now with the stripe kit, dd bullitts, side scoops, smoked headlights and grill delete.
