Default Brake Pads

Ok my rear brakes are shot. I need new rotors on both sides and a new caliper on the drivers side. I was going to go ahead and get a set of 4 slotted and drilled rotors and just do the pads all the way around. I know everyone loves the EBC Green stuff brake pads. All my mustang buddies swear by it. I want to upgrade to the EBC Red stuff becuase they are a little better and more suited to my application. Ok so what pads are your guy's favs and what do you guys run?

Green Stuff for the street as the red is more for race use as they work better when heated and are not best suited for the street.
I would simply get powerslot rotors and stay away from drilled rotors unless they are the top brands like Brembo. I have had drilled rotors crack. Mark

Green stuff description:
For fast and heavy autos, go with EBC Green Stuff Brake Pads. They’re custom-formulated for an intense initial bite and sustained stopping force—best for spirited street driving and bulky loads. They make little noise and low dust for a quiet, clean ride

Red Stuff:
Muscle cars, souped-up speed demons, and high-end European autos demand the intense grip of EBC’s Red Stuff Brake Pads. These ceramic pads are specifically made for spirited street driving, stopping you faster and with little dust and noise.

Yellow Stuff:
At the oval track or on the streets, EBC’s race-ready Yellow Stuff Brake Pads amplify your brake pedal. These serious pads are formulated for extreme driving, unleashing a hardy bite even while cold. Beveled edges and center-line slot muffle squeaks

Im in the red catagory is my car is built for RR

You should never replace only 1 caliper on an axle. Do them in pairs.

I had just replaced them both last year but the drivers side went out. It wont release becuase the slides are shot (some how) and the other side is just fine.

They may work fine for you. I had an AWD Talon and the vendor selling the pads told me to stay away from the Red Stuff and it was a 500+ HP car doing high 11's at 122.
Let us know how the Reds work out! Thanks, mark

If the slides are shot, take them out and clean them and lube them. If need be, replace the boots.
