I found another option a while back:

http://www.hiperformancesolutions.com/index2.html

Looks like a stronger version of the stock unit or maybe the Professional products piece. Just FYI.

I read in an article about a few months ago that the Professional Products corp. have fudged power gains on their intake for the mustang! They claim 21hp or some crazy number like that and really is only a couple of hp gain! Also their is only a gain because there is a dramatic loss on top end power!! Sean Hyland touched up on it briefly in an interview. They have hidden the major torque loss factor in the upper rpm range! I would stay away from the $600 who knows could be fony intake? I know someone posted they liked it, but I'm sure they aren't completely satisfied for the money they spent! I would get a bullit intake, yes it's rated at 5hp more, but they say that the bullitt intake creates tremendous gain under F/I situations, as much as 30hp more in some instances!

According to MM&FF (I'm sure that's the article you are referring too) there is also a problem with the boss that supports the
upper plenum in that it's not tall enough and can CRACK the manifod, yes you have to smoke it to plunk down that kind of money!!!
