how many coils to cut?

how many coils should I cut to drop my GT's front end about an inch?

most people usually cut 1 full coil off.

ive heard you cut as much as you want to drop. so if you wanna drop 1 inch, you only cut one inch of the coil, i could be wrong.

anyone else? - the reason I ask is bc my local mustang shop says cutting the stockers is the best thing you can do for a DD

I dont know much on the subject of cutting springs...but I know it's not the "best way" to do things....who is your local shop...and do they have a good rep in the area.

yea the best actually LOL - like I said for DD they say its the best (ride quality) the shop is harris racing in Concord NC - i believe what they say - they do tons of sick stuff.

I hear cutting down old fox bodie springs and using them is is the best weight transfer you can get. I believe v8 springs outback and 4 bangers up front. Maybe other way around but not sure.
