Yep.. and the car can never see rain again; talk about some belt slip.

I thought the belt would slip too, but if you read it he said he drives it in the rain with no problems. I still don't see how it couldnt though.

and I guess if he had the right resources it could have came out cheaper possibly... but A LOT of time Im sure. It said the design took him months.

i wouldnt say its a waste....hes making more HP than a stock GT and even with the blower im guessing theres less weight than a stock gt....more power + less weight? not a waste in my opinion

The time/money invested for it - makes it a waste. You have to stop sometimes and realize how much time and money it's costing you while you're doing something. Also, think of the stress on that engine, the heaton M112 causes so much stress on the DOHC 4V engines, I can't imagine on the poor ol sixxer the stress on them things..

looks to me as if he removed his upper plenum and then machined a adapter to bolt the bottom of the eaton onto the top of the intake.

not exactly the most efficent setup. I am sure that if i didn't mind the blower sticking out of the hood (and i wanted the lower performance of the eaton for some reason) I could machine up a adapter for the 4.6L intake too. But with so many affordable and availble designed for the car blower setups out there...

I thought superchargers that mount on top of the engine have decent clearance, or from pictures that I've seen on here..... why is that one different

I wonder how much money he actually spent though? Did it say?

It doesn't seem like it would have costed all that much in terms of dollars to do that project... It might have costed a lot in terms of time, but I think that's what he was probably looking for, a time consuming project. I'll bet it was fun.
