Slicks on an auto 8.8

RE: Slicks on an auto 8.8
It's a daily driver, so for the most part I'm easy on the car on the street, except when I'm racing it. The reason I'm asking about this is because I just put the 4.10s in the car and last night on the stock Goodyears in the back, I was squirming all over the street-granted the road was cold, but the car just won't hook at all. I launched it at like 1500, spun to 45mph, and lost to a bone stock g35 by about 2 cars-i was pullin all the way-but couldn't get out the hole-slicks look like the only way
