WHATS ITS GONNA TAKE!!

ok so wats it gonna take to beat a 99 cobra? i have yet to put my 3.73 gears but there going in on mon or tues day with all my mods wat else would i have to do? last night i wa riding around with my gf and some guy in a 350z wanted to race and i pulled away from him sick!! i was shocked to see me past him! and before my PI swap i raced one and got my a$$ handed to me. lol but not any more!

return the 3.73 and get 3.90/4.10s.. and some tires, and you're good to go.

maybe a good exhaust.....gears will help and also some suspension stuff, subframe connectors, springs and bla bla bla

headers, midpipe, exhaust, gears, cai, springs, tires... that should get you what your lookin for at least for now.

How did you get the 05 Bullit wheels to fit on your car? I have a take off set with 2.9 miles on them at work for sale. I took them off when the guy wanted to buy the car off of the lot. I can get them for $200 with tires. I tried them on to fit and the hub on the car is too big. The hold in the rim is 2.5" wide and the hub needs 2.75" of clearance. Did you put spacers and longer studs?...?

i put in 1/4inch sapcers all around and its good to go maybe a little bit bigger spacers will be better but the 1/4 spacers are good for right now i beat an srt-4 not by much it was really close on the street!

If they fit like you say with just spacers, I'm definetly going to buy them. Where did you get the spacers from? Stock studs? No other problems (loose wheel, vibration, shaking, wheel hop)?

If you can get the gears returned then i would. I heard the the 3.73 are a tease of what you could have. Go 3.90s or 4.10, no larger. if not install them. then get full bold ons and start saving for what big things you want. Do you wanna go F/I or N/a. I wanna try to go N/A just because it is more of a challenge to get the hp. But i kinda don't really have the shops or facilities to do that here so i might have to go f/i. just my 2 cents.
