Hmmm is it worth the $200 for a K&N or would a ebay CAI work just as good?

 

Performance wise... NO, to me its all about what looks best... you can paint them, or just get something like JLT that looks good, either way, performance wise they are about the same.

 

I think my ebay intake is better than the bbk - why - its 200 less and seems to flow more - i think the bbk filter is too small - but the bbk makes a cool noise - I have the ebay - no complaints - just makes sure your get the true cold air (fender well intake) - it wont hurt your maf - thats just BS.

 

Yea its all about how you want it to look. Either way, not too much performance gain. If you wanted the most actual performance, get a JLT kit, about the same price as the K&N and better actual performance gains.

 

I love my BBK CAI, the throttle response is way better, sounds awsome, looks great, easy install, whats not to like? plus it only cost me about $170 thru jegs
