Default idle problem

hey whats going on everyone. sorry i havnt been on in a while, ive been working on my car and g/f problems. anyways my car will not idle right. when i start it up the idle is way off and then it dies...i cant figure it out. well needless to say she is going to the shop monday for the cam install, finally. hopefully ill figure out what is wrong with my car. anyone ever have this happen to you before??

I had some hesitation and stubleming problems with my car. I figured out it was that my spark plugs where covered with oil leaking out of the valve cover. I recomend checking your spark plugs.

Thats usually a sign of a bad TPS or IAC. Try cleaning the IAC first and see what happens.

The TPS or IAC may be a problem, if the idle is "jumping" then get a screw driver and just tune it so that it will idle at a higher RPM and it should stop the problem. hope that helps
