Nitrous Question
I've never really wanted to put a nitrous kit on my car, but everyone seems to be running up to 100 shot with out any problems so I'm considering putting a 75 shot dry kit in my car. My question is when is it best to use the nitrous, like what gear and hourse powere range and how long does it spray for.

RE: Nitrous Question
Well I can tell you that your not suppose to use it below 3000 rpm. Other than that I think you can use it in any gear. Also im pretty sure you should be WOT when you spray. Ive always wondered how long it sprays for also.

RE: Nitrous Question
you can use it in 1st but you wont because of traction issues. dont use it in od. only use it when wot. not under 3000. usually have your window switch set to stop spraying right before you shift.

RE: Nitrous Question
So I looked around and found that you have to hold the button down for it to be engaged, you dont just push it. So you basically hit it at wot let off to **** then hit it again once u hit wot in the next gear.

RE: Nitrous Question
u can set it to a bunch of differnt ways....u can just hold it.....u can set it to spray at full throttle with a open throttle switch....jsut depends...personally im going to set it so I can spray when I want.....so when im full throttle in first im not jsut sitting there spinning....and If i want to powershift I can and just let off the nitrous.....and the nitrous will spray as long as your holding it, your in full throttle and you have nitrous in your bottle.....of course that also depends on how you have it setup....

RE: Nitrous Question
Go for it man, and it can spray for as long as you want it to. A full bottle should get you atleast 10 full 1/4 mile passes, thats alot of use imo for one bottle. It usually never costs me more than 40 bucks to fill up my tank and I love nitrous. The power is there when you want it and its cheap hp. Just be safe with it, and whoever says you cant use it in first is missing out. Get some d/rs and youll love it, although 1st is short with 4:10's and a 100 shot. P.S....I'd get a wet kit.
